The Academy Fund Allowance “TAFA” is underwritten by The Academy of Clinical Training Ltd (“ACT”)and all TAFA Funding awards can only be credited towards any approved and available ACT Training Course and the ACT’s Application decision and the amount of quantum awarded is final and confidential with no right of appeal.
Firstly search online for our TAFA Approved Courses or call our friendly staff to talk through your requirements.
You can then apply for funding for your chosen course by clicking the ‘Apply Today’ link to request an application form; within this you simply need to provide your age, a resident UK Home address , employment or benefit details, a valid email address, a telephone number and your Income Details.
Once you’ve applied for funding, we will send you a confirmation email with instructions on how to book your course.
You will have 12 weeks from the time your application is successful, to make a booking with us for a Training course . If all the required information is available at the application stage we hope to confirm your funding award within 48 hours of your application.

Under the temporary non-resident arrangements, forces personnel are treated as being resident at the establishment where they are based. If they are ordinarily resident* in the United Kingdom but are serving overseas, they would be eligible.
*Ordinarily resident means that you live in The United Kingdom year after year by choice, apart from temporary or occasional absences such as holidays or business trips. Living here totally or mainly for the purpose of receiving full-time education may not count as being ordinarily resident. If you are not a UK national, you must be settled in the UK (as set out in the Immigration Act 1971) immediately before the date on which you made your application.
